Product Registration is the process of registering the products with Dubai Municipality. The government of Dubai regulates the manufacture, sale and import of cosmetic products. By requiring that all the products which are being used in the domestic market to be registered prior to placing in Dubai market.

     Product Registration in Dubai restricts the trading of fake and harmful products in the domestic markets, to ensure the customer safety and quality of the product. The registration of a cosmetic product is valid for 5 years

To ensure that products that affects the life, health and safety of consumers and the environment and products that may affect the economy of the country are complying with the relevant UAE or its adopted or recognized Standards such as IEC standards.

Foodstuff products which are new to the FIRS program should be registered through this program. This requires a description of the packaging type (carton containers or plastic or metal etc.) and a clear image of the label and the food item itself (the size of the image should not exceed 10 MB). The labeling information should be present on the wrapper as a minimum requirement.

Dealers, importers and manufacturers of Radio and Telecommunications Terminal Equipment (RTTE) in the UAE should be registered with TRA as Dealer, and telecom devices as Type Approval.

Type Approval is the term for the process of determining and registering the kind of equipment that can be brought and used in UAE without causing interference or long or short-term damage to the network.

Type Approval  is the requirement for Radio and Telecommunications Terminal Equipment (RTTE) to comply with specific technical standards. Such equipment must be registered with the TRA before it can be used, sold or distributed in the UAE.

A Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certification scheme offers independent verification and certification that the basic manufacturing practices and prerequisites necessary for the implementation of an effective Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) food safety program are being followed.
